Surprise! or What an honor to be nominated for the Illuminating Blogger Award

This morning when I checked my mail I noticed a very nice comment from a fellow blogger, Pop The Bubbly.  It read as follows:

What is this?  How exciting!  I right away clicked on the link she kindly provided and found the blog, Food Stories.

This award nomination is all about Food and Stories together (in perfect harmony.)  I’m all about telling stories with my photography and I enjoy writing, so I was very excited about this.

It says in part:

Food Stories is pleased to present the Food Stories Award for Excellence in Storytelling, a fabulous nomination that anyone can bestow on their fellow bloggers.

Wow! I don’t know what to say, other than Thank you to Pop! (who’s real name is Rebecca.)

So, in order to qualify  have to do the following:

2. Share one random thing about myself.  Hmmm.  That’s a tough one because most of my thoughts are pretty random to everyone but me.  Okay, I call myself a Crow Photographer because I have a tendency to shoot anything colorful, shiny and/or pretty.

The Domestic Man (This is a new one I’m following. I like it because it is very manly presentation of food and the photos are good.

So there you have it.  All I have to do now is notify the above nominees and Food Stories and wait to see what will happen.
