Yes!Chef! loves pork.  When I first met him, I couldn’t understand why he liked it so much.  It was always dry and tasteless every time I had it.  So, I would frequently turn up my nose to his suggestion of pork for dinner because of my pork bias.  Yes, I was a hater…a pork hater.

However, dear husband has changed my mind forever.

Homer:  Does that mean you’re not going to eat any pork?

Lisa: Yes.

Homer:  Bacon?

Homer: Ham?

Since Christmas, I have not written a new post.  This mostly stemmed from Yes!Chef! spending quite a bit of time out of town for his day job and so he really didn’t do much cooking.  This was a tragedy for me, because I had to cook for myself and the blog. So, it’s back to this…perfecting pork ribs.  Yes!Chef! loved the last batch of ribs that he made, but he came across a technique that really intrigued him, so he had to try it.  I’m always a willing guinea pig when it comes to most of his food and I will photograph anything he decides to cook.

Yes!Chef! loves pork.  Until he started cooking pork for me, I always turned up my nose at any mention of recipes that included pork.  My experience with pork has been dried up meat that needed lots of barbecue sauce in order to be able to choke it down.

My mind has been changed with some of the recipes Y!C! has made…specifically the Pressure Cooker Carnitas Recipe and the Pulled Pork Recipe he made last summer.  And now, he’s found a Pulled Pork Recipe that is more to his liking:  spicy, sweet and no-creamy cole slaw.
