I have never been to a lobster feast…or a clam bake. Â So, we were quite excited when we saw The Deloach Vineyards members only Lobster Feast. Â The date was within a week of our 34th Anniversary, so we made reservations, which lead to this whole, sweet Napa and Sonoma mini vacation.

We had planned to stop at R+D Kitchen for lunch as part of our itinerary. Â We had been here a couple of times before and we liked it so much that we wanted to go again. Plus, our next appointment was at 2:00 and it was within 10 minutes from the restaurant.

Yes!Chef! and I celebrated 34 years of wedded bliss a few days ago. Â To mark the occasion, we decided to take a short vacation in Napa and Sonoma. Yes!Chef! has been notably missing from the cooking scene as he got himself involved in a day job that required a lot of travel and left little time for cooking.

I’ve been wanting to make this ever since I found the recipe and I finally had a chance a couple of months ago when my family was coming over for dinner. My oldest loves Boursin Cheese, but it is very expensive. So, I was quite excited to find this recipe especially since it is very economical and makes a large batch.
