Continuing on with our Day 1 adventures, brings us to Mumm Napa, just up the road a few minutes from Paraduxx Winery, on Silverado Trail. This was our last stop for the day and our reservation was for 4:00.

We had planned to stop at R+D Kitchen for lunch as part of our itinerary. We had been here a couple of times before and we liked it so much that we wanted to go again. Plus, our next appointment was at 2:00 and it was within 10 minutes from the restaurant.
Yes!Chef! and I celebrated 34 years of wedded bliss a few days ago. To mark the occasion, we decided to take a short vacation in Napa and Sonoma. Yes!Chef! has been notably missing from the cooking scene as he got himself involved in a day job that required a lot of travel and left little time for cooking.
The good people at Magefesa contacted us recently and wanted us to try a couple more of their products. Since we have been using their products for several years now, we were anxious to try the new ones.

When you think of summer what food comes to mind? Watermelon? Ripe tomatoes? Sweet corn? Mostly I think of fresh, ripe fruit and vegetables.
