Time Just Keeps on Slipping, Slipping, Slipping, into the Future…and it’s already Apple Hill Time

It’s kind of a long story about where we have been lately and why we have not been blogging.  It mostly has to do with life and my other job (as a photographer) have gotten in the way a little.

Yes!Chef! makes Honey Glazed Pork Chops while The!Wife! tries to enter a recipe contest

So, what is happening here?  I should be entering photography contests, not recipe contests. Yes!Chef! is the one who should be thinking about cooking contests.  The sad truth is: I should stick to photography and let Yes!Chef! do the cooking.

Strawberry Margaritas, grilled burgers and baked, stuffed potatoes or Thanks, Honey, I needed that.

Margarita on the deck

Sunday I had a fun photo shoot in the little town of Galt, CA, in a great bar called Brewsters Bar and Grill. I took my youngest son with me because he has a little interest in modeling and a great interest in hanging around pretty girls. So, we got up early and drove down to Galt, spent the day photographing/modeling and drove back that afternoon.

I had another opportunity to make cupcakes because it was my oldest son’s birthday and the family celebrated it on Sunday.

Christopher, age 6 months or so.

The above photo was taken a few years ago.  But here’s another more recent one.

What’s Cooking or what have I been doing with my time, lately?

A lovely little pond in Napa Valley

Honestly, I have not been wasting my time while my husband, Yes!Chef!, has been slaving away in the kitchen.  I know it looks like it from the photo above.  But I was actually on a weekend photo shoot last weekend and I left Yes!Chef! and Obie T. Dogg alone.
